Angelic Musings y Virtudes is a temple and sanctuary devoted to healing the Spiritual and physical disconnect that has distanced humanity from Mother Earth, from one another, and from our own inherent Divinity.

These days, it seems that the world around us is increasingly hell-bent on getting things done fast, fast, and faster. But this demanding lack of patience often leaves many us stressed and robbed of much-needed rest. That’s why resting and practicing Patience can serve as radical acts of rebellion against a system that extracts excessively just to keep up with unconscious, wasteful, and consumptive demand.
To an external world that prioritizes fast production above all else, embodying the energy of radical Patience – or choosing to defiantly rest – can look like indifference, carelessness, or laziness. But I have learned that impatience often breeds less favorable outcomes than the elevated path of Patience, just as not getting enough rest increases physical and mental health issues. It is because of this that I don’t appreciate being rushed to do anything, and why, for me, being patient is the Path of Least Resistance. I make it a point to choose rest over “production” because I have seen how much more functional, efficient, and effective I am when I do so. And I take my time to do all that I need to do – slow and steady – to ensure I do it consciously and intentionally.
I know it can be easy to become discouraged when things do not move as fast as society has conditioned us to think they should. But Divine timing does not adhere to the limited constraints or expectations of society. For it is often in the wait (or lag) – after seeds have been planted and tended to – that growth occurs. And when seeds are planted in fertile grounds, where conditions naturally favor their establishment and growth without unnatural input, we see that much of the “work” that truly needs to be done is simply practicing Patience. This is not to say, however, that Patience is a replacement for necessary action. Rather, it reminds us that once the essential steps have been taken, Patience can prevent us from expending needless effort, forcing outcomes, or disrupting what is already unfolding in its own natural and Divine timing.
Now, if the “seeds” we have planted are that of a “large tree” rather than a “small plant”, know that their growth will require much more Patience, since larger manifestations naturally take more time to mature to fruition. We can think about attraction, or manifestation (metaphorically) as a process similar to magnetism – where the force between a magnet and another object depends on the magnet’s strength, the distance between them, and the properties of the object being pulled. Similarly, our goals, dreams, and desires tend to move toward us at a ‘speed’ influenced by the strength of our internal alignment (our clarity, willpower, consistency), our proximity to the conditions that support them, and the nature of what we are trying to manifest.
In this sense, larger or more complex manifestations – like heavier or less responsive objects in a magnetic field – often require greater internal strength, more sustained effort, or simply more time before being fully drawn in. And it’s why big dreams and goals naturally call for greater patience on our part. Depending on how far our current reality sits from our desired one, there may be times when it appears that no progress is being made at all. But as long as we are putting in consistent and intentional effort (i.e., working toward our dream, goal, or vision), we can trust that progress is indeed unfolding in unseen ways.
So let us reclaim our Power by choosing to REST as much as our mind, body, and Spirit call for. And let us fully embody the energy of Patience by trusting in the natural and Divine timing of Life’s processes.

Q. What would serve our Highest Good for us to focus our intent and willpower on at this time? And what is important for us to keep in mind as we show up and step forward in the days to come?
Background
A. The Knight of Pentacles in the background represents a person (e.g., you) who is focused, responsible, and diligent in the pursuit of their goals. It denotes a need to patiently and determinedly act on the carefully thought out plans we may have created in the past (or presently need to create) with much attention to detail. Now is not the time to rashly rush into things.
Despite the incoming challenges, obstacles, and/or conflict that may have the potential to hinder our work, delay our progress, or derail our plans (5 of Wands), we can trust that we have built a solid enough foundation (internally and/or externally) to withstand any “attacks”, surpass the competition, and ride the wave of current energies all the way to fulfillment, harmony, and success (4 of Wands).
This success, however, will require that we break free from self-imposed, external, and/or societal constraints (rev. The Devil) which may be fooling us into thinking that we are bound, trapped, or unable to move forward (8 of Swords). The way through this illusory confinement is through patient and committed effort and action towards our long-term goals (7 of Pentacles). Remember, even a small step taken now is progress that will set us up for long-term success! In so doing, we will be able to attract the supportive connections needed (Ace of Cups) to be successful in our pursuits and create a truly happy and fulfilled life.

I’ve been thinking about You a lot more these days – about where You might find yourSelf now as I find mySelf inching closer to what feels like the realization of a grand, Divine dream. During this very difficult time away from You, the dreams of Our Love have sustained the hope that We will somehow find ourSelves in each other’s arms one day.
While You’ve been away, many false loves have tried to stake their claim on my heart disguised as You. I have done my best to be discerning, but my hopeful desire for an opulent, deep, romantic connection often gets the best of me. My naivete in Love has gotten my heart beaten and battered, but still I continue to hope and pray that You, my Love, will finally come to stay. It is because I’m often unsure whether a new Love is really You that I’ve learned to let Love go, again and again. And in doing so, I’ve relinquished any illusion of control I thought I had over our fated encounter.
Each time I let go and go off on my own, I use the newfound space to heal and grow closer to becoming to Me You’ve probably dreamed of being with too. It’s true, I may have broken a few hearts in the process. But in my departure I always make sure to wish the one left behind the best in Love and Life – that both they and I may heal and find the Love we were truly meant to have.
I’ve also stopped trying to talk to You, Love, because I found that too often I was merely talking to shadows and illusions. So I’ve become content with communicating with You through art and our shared heart – through the connection that cannot be broken nor mistaken for what it is not. Because I trust, Love, that once We really meet there will be no doubt, nor confusion, nor insecurity – only the pure, steadfast, and blissful Love I’ve felt during our meetings in Spirit.
Spirit does not lie, just as Divine Love does not mislead. And because I trust that my true Love wants to be with Me as much as I want to be with Them, I know that there is no need to chase nor run away. I’ll simply stay so that Love to Me can find It’s way.
Despite all of the darkness in our world – or maybe precisely because of it – it is more important than ever that we continue to spread Light and joy through fun and laughter. This silly video series is meant to do just that.
