Dique que liberaron a los esclavos
pero seguimos aquí atrapados –
some in actual cages
y otros mentalizado.
Explotan a los seres
y se aprovechan del ganado,
porque aquí solo vale el dinero
y no es da'o.
Society would have us believe
that suffering is the norm.
So they make our life more difficult
and drive us to build our storm.
Uno nace pa’ vivir,
no solo para morir.
Pero ahora cuesta un kil’
pa' uno comer en peace.
Trabajamos sin dormir y
nos acostumbran al sufrir –
quieren mantenernos ciego
y ocupados hasta el fin.
Así no despertamos
a la verdad de este estado –
del Poder que trae la mano
de un Divino ser humano.
You know how hard life can be –
so why not make peace a reality?
Why not help ease daily maladies
by removing the need for surviving
and making thriving what’s driving
society?
You call it socialism; I call it humanitarianism.
Though life is full of challenges
We can take steps to ease the way –
By finding Joy in simple pleasures
Y dando gracias at the end of each day.
We can gain peace by Being present.
And we can make Love with words we say.
But what of those who have no place to stay?
What of those who fight each and every day
just to keep hunger at bay?
It is hard to find Light in poverty and dismay.
So if We are to create
a world of Harmony and Prosperity
then the bare necessities
must be guaranteed
for each and everybody.
Nothing is wrong with
Our existence –
everyone's vibe is just
a little bit
different.
