Death is a transition – an opportunity for a new beginning. It is not something to be feared. Because as Death follows Life, so too does Life follow Death.
The Life that follows will depend on the deeds of this one, so that after Death we will be reborn again – como un bebé que nace desnudo and exposed – in the manner that best suits the needs of our spiritual growth and attainment.
Of course, it is natural to fear leaving behind our loved ones without knowing how they will fare in our absence. Will they be able to live with the grief of our loss? Will they be okay without us? But what if, in our physical absence, we would be able to watch over and take better care of them? What if they would benefit from us being gone?
To those of us that fear being forgotten, trust: that we will forever Live in the hearts of those that Loved us; that the very molecules of our existence will remain etched in the fabric of this Earth forevermore; and that just as energy cannot be created nor destroyed, the Life energy that fuels our physical vessels will persist for all eternity.
To those of us that are still trying to fight Death in fear of losing our Love, let us free ourselves from this futile battle so that we may finally be able to rest in Peace. Let us trust that our Love will always return to us in one form or another. Let us face Death with the assurance that We will be led to the next stage of our spiritual evolution. And let us meet this chance to garner greater abundance with Faith, Hope, and Courage.
