A. The Knight of Pentacles in the background represents a person (e.g., you) who is focused, responsible, and diligent in the pursuit of their goals. It denotes a need to patiently and determinedly act on the carefully thought out plans we may have created in the past (or presently need to create) with much attention to detail. Now is not the time to rashly rush into things.
Despite the incoming challenges, obstacles, and/or conflict that may have the potential to hinder our work, delay our progress, or derail our plans (5 of Wands), we can trust that we have built a solid enough foundation (internally and/or externally) to withstand any “attacks”, surpass the competition, and ride the wave of current energies all the way to fulfillment, harmony, and success (4 of Wands).
This success, however, will require that we break free from self-imposed, external, and/or societal constraints (rev. The Devil) which may be fooling us into thinking that we are bound, trapped, or unable to move forward (8 of Swords). The way through this illusory confinement is through patient and committed effort and action towards our long-term goals (7 of Pentacles). Remember, even a small step taken now is progress that will set us up for long-term success! In so doing, we will be able to attract the supportive connections needed (Ace of Cups) to be successful in our pursuits and create a truly happy and fulfilled life.
